Pemanfaatan Aplikasi SIAP-TA untuk Pengamanan Dokumen Tugas Akhir Mahasiswa sebagai Repositori Institusi

Perpustakaan merupakan institusi pengelola koleksi karya ilmiah suatu institusi. Tugas akhir (TA) adalah karya ilmiah yang disusun oleh mahasiswa di setiap program studi berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari suatu masalah yang dilakukan secara seksama dengan arahan dari dosen pembimbing. Repositori institusi akademik adalah layanan pengarsipan secara online yang dilakukan suatu institusi terhadap karya ilmiah yang dibuat oleh institusi tersebut atau sivitas akademikanya. Seiring dengan semakin meningkatnya penggunaan internet, tingkat kerawanan terhadap pencurian dan penyalahgunaan dokumen yang tersimpan di internet semakin besar. Beberapa bentuk kerawanan tersebut adalah pencurian dokumen, modifikasi dokumen tanpa izin, dan penyisipan malware pada dokumen. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, untuk membangun suatu repositori institusi akademik dibutuhkan mekanisme pengamanan terhadap dokumen karya ilmiah yang tersimpan dan informasi pribadi yang dikirimkan. Mekanisme pengamanan yang digunakan menerapkan teknik-teknik kriptografi, yaitu enkripsi file untuk mengamankan karya ilmiah yang bersifat terbatas dan menerapkan skema location-based access control (LBAC). Diharapkan, pemanfaatan aplikasi Sistem Informasi Akses Perpustakaan untuk Tugas Akhir (SIAP-TA) dapat melindungi karya ilmiah yang tersimpan dalam perpustakaan dengan aman dan mencegah terjadinya penyalahgunaan yang tidak bertanggung jawab.

Penguatan Citra UPT Perpustakaan UMM melalui Media Sosial untuk Meningkatkan Peran dan Fungsi di Era Masyarakat 5.0

The development of digital technology has now entered the era of society 5.0. Artificial intelligence has been applied in various forms. Previously, library services were traditional technically and physically, which is different from today's with the application of digital systems to social media. This research aims to analyze and describe strengthening the image of the UMM Library UPT through social media to maximize the role and function of the library in the era of society 5.0. In this paper, the author applies descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Based on a survey regarding library social media branding optimization, 143 UMM students found that they were more active in using Instagram accounts than other social media, with a figure of 72.7% after branding optimization was carried out for eight months starting September 2022 – April 2023. Therefore, UPT UMM Library formed a special team called the Social Media Team (social media), which is assigned to maximize the publication of creative content through social media accounts, especially Instagram. To convey maximum information, the social media team creates content as much as possible by compiling a Brand Guideline focusing on post templates and Social Media Design, concentrating on design and content arrangement. There are four content pillar concepts: Spall-Spill, Play and Fun, UMMLibTalk, and Kober. These efforts produced results for the UMM Library UPT by increasing the number of followers and physical visits to the library. UMM librarians are also more confident by being involved as Content Creators; apart from that, another impact is the interaction of the UMM Library UPT with students, the academic community, and the general public.

Analisis Kebutuhan Hard Skill Pustakawan dalam Menunjang Transformasi Digital di Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah Mada

This study examines the essential hard skills needed by librarians at the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Library to support digital transformation. Utilizing a qualitative approach through interviews with four faculty library heads at UGM, this research describes the skills required to meet these challenges. The findings indicate that technological skills, English proficiency, public speaking abilities, and research skills are necessary hard skills for current needs. It is crucial for university libraries to develop their librarians' expertise, including aspects of service quality, support for research and learning activities.

Tren Pemberitaan Perpustakaan di Media Online Nasional dan Pengaruhnya terhadap Promosi Perpustakaan

People's habits of reading news have moved from print media to online media. Image can be formed indirectly from the news. If the content of the news is good, then the image that will be formed in society will also be good. On the other hand, if the news is bad then the image that will be formed will also be bad. This becomes an obstacle in the library promotion process, the effect of which will affect user visits. The aim of this research is to find out what issues are the topics of news coverage of a library in national online media which can later be used as reference material for the promotion of a library. The research method used is descriptive-quantitative by coding each news item. Primary data in the form of news was collected using advanced search techniques on Google, as well as secondary data obtained from journal articles, books and other related documents. The results of this research illustrate that libraries are reported by three national online media, namely Detik.com, Kompas.com, and Okezone.com with a good image. This report was taken over three months from 1 July 2023 to 30 September 2023. Apart from that, there are aspects that are studied, namely the placement of the word library in the title or content of the news, photos of libraries, news issues, types of libraries, figures involved in news, how to get news, and sectoral issues related to libraries. The conclusion of this research is that libraries must publish their activities more often in various mass media so that they are better known by the wider community, prevent things from happening that can make the library's good name less good, and actively promote the library through any media so that the library becomes more widespread. reach in society.

Penerapan Biblioterapi di Perpustakaan: Sebuah Kajian Bibliometrik

Bibliotherapy is the use of literature to treat mental and emotional health problems. An appropriate library collection will influence the success of applying the bibliotherapy method to readers. This research uses quantitative methods with bibliometric analysis which aims to analyze the application of bibliotherapy in libraries. Bibliographic data was taken from journal articles indexed by the Scopus, Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (EBSCO), and Lens databases, published in the last ten years. Data processing was carried out using VOSViewer software. Bibliometric analysis shows that the number of studies on bibliotherapy has increased in the last three years. Limited mobilization due to the pandemic is one of the causes of stress and bibliotherapy can reduce this problem. The results of word co-occurrence analysis show that most of the research on bibliotherapy in libraries is discussed from psychological and medical aspects, with reading activities as the bibliotherapy method most widely discussed. However, bibliotherapy has also now experienced developments in terms of technology, including regarding the use of multimedia collections. This research is useful in providing information for librarians who want to implement bibliotherapy as a part of library services and collections. Bibliotherapy has the potential as a method to increase literacy regarding mental health for readers.
